On November 12, a networking meeting was held at Shiba Park Hotel, bringing together more than 90 participants, including representatives from our corporate member companies, recipients of the Youth Leader Awards, and high school and university students belonging to our association’s student community, LEP.
The event fostered a wide range of interactions and new connections across generations and industries. Despite the limited time, it proved to be a highly meaningful and enriching experience for all participants.
On the day, three recipients of the Youth Leader Awards took the stage:
Mr. Yoshiki Hiruma (Development Bank of Japan Inc.),
Mr. Yuzen Kodama (Leave a Nest Co., Ltd.), and
Ms. Rina Nagaoka (Otetabi Co., Ltd.).
In addition, students who participated in the summer overseas training program in Indonesia, “GET,” delivered passionate reports on their experiences during the program.
We would like to issue a correction to the public relations magazine YOUTH LEADER, Autumn 2025 issue (Vol. 154).
There was an error on page 7 of the association’s public relations magazine YOUTH LEADER, Autumn 2025 issue (Vol. 154), which was published this November. We hereby provide the following correction.
In the section slightly below the middle on the right-hand side of the page, the year printed as “2025” is incorrect. The correct year should be “2026.” (Please see below.)
We sincerely apologize for the error and hereby make this correction.
We invited university students from Indonesia through the Sakura Science Program (October 3–9, 2025).
Under the Japan Science and Technology Agency’s (JST) Sakura Science Program, we hosted Indonesian university students and conducted this program.
Based on the theme, “Expanding knowledge of Japan’s cutting-edge science and technology and environmental initiatives,” the students visited state-of-the-art technologies with the cooperation of our corporate member companies, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. and Toyo Kanetsu K.K., as well as Leave a Nest Co., Ltd., a former award recipient organization of the Youth Leader Awards.
In addition, the participants joined a chemistry experiment class at Shiba Kokusai Senior High School and experienced homestays with students’ families, making the program a highly meaningful and rewarding experience.
We hope that this program will further strengthen the relationship between Japan and Indonesia.

We Held a Parent–Child Experience Event at the Enoshima Aquarium! (September 28, 2025)
With the cooperation of Enoshima Corporation, one of our corporate member companies, we held an event at the Enoshima Aquarium for the first time in seven
years.
On the day of the event, more than 100 parents and children from our corporate member companies took part. They had the opportunity to tour the aquarium’s backstage
areas, which are normally closed to the public, and to learn through hands-on experiences by directly touching starfish, nudibranchs, jellyfish, and other marine creatures.
Blessed with good weather, everyone enjoyed a fun and memorable day on Enoshima.
A post traininng session for the 2025 Summer GET Indonesia Program was held on September 21, 2025.
During the workshop, each participant shared how they plan to apply the knowledge and experiences gained during the program to their future activities. In addition,
based on the results of interview research conducted on site, participants gave presentations on ”The Future Relationship between Japan and
Indonesia.”
The workshop provided an opportunity to see the participants, having completed the program, speaking with confidence and a strong sense of achievement.
The GET Indonesia group returned home safely in the summer of 2025.
We believe that each participant brought back significant achievements and valuable experiences.
We are very much looking forward to their presentations at the post-program training session in September.

We held a pre-departure training session for the Summer 2025 GET Indonesia program!
Before traveling to Indonesia, participants engaged in advance learning and deepened exchanges with one another. Let’s work together, supporting each other as a team, to make this training a great experience as we move toward our individual goals!
The GET2025 Spring (Thailand) Post-Training Session has concluded.
Teachers from schools and participants’ families also attended, allowing them to see the results of the training.
During this training, many new encounters took place, and each participant was able to achieve their individual goals.
